It seems to be the thing to do these days, so I've fired some of my clue writers and I'm pivoting to video.
(I'm including the pdf, puz, and pdf solution, but I highly recommend solving in the browser if you can - you can change the settings by clicking the picture of the gear at the top right, if you'd like. All clips are copyright their respective owners.)
Very frustrating solving experience. Format wise. How do you stop the thing from telling you you have a square wrong (red)? It just started doing that from the get go. Other aspects very clunky too.
ReplyDeleteDidn't mean to be overly critical. Enjoyed the clips. Sometimes different is worth doing just cuz. Well written puzzle. Just wish filling in experience could have flowed better (or at all). And the puzzle telling me when I had a square wrong was not my favorite.
ReplyDeleteYou can change that by turning "error check mode" off under settings, but you're right that it's odd that it was set to on by default. Thanks for the feedback - if I do more multimedia puzzles, I'll see what I can do about making things flow better.
DeleteHi, I am Barsha from Amuse labs.
DeleteWe would like to inform you that we had a minor bug in the "error check mode" which is fixed now. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by the error.
It would be great if you could share with us any other feedback you have.
Wouldn't it have been possible to put in a short URL for those clues and provide the standard formats? I don't solve on random apps.
ReplyDeleteI thought about it, but the point was to have the clues be actual videos, so solvers wouldn't have to paste or type URLs into their browser while solving with pdf/puz. But if you prefer not to solve in the browser, you're probably not the only one, so I've edited the post to include the usual formats too.
